Math & Science Tutor,
Gretchen graduated from California State University in Fresno with a B.A. in chemistry and from Oregon State University with an M.S. in Chemistry. She has taught
Chemistry at Lane Community College and both CSUF and OSU as a graduate student. Gretchen has tutored math and science students in elementary school through college for over 25 years. She is also a dedicated volunteer for Greenhill Humane Society as a dog enrichment trainer. In her free time, Gretchen enjoys, reading, knitting, and hiking and camping with her husband.
Math & Physics Tutor
Jordan graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. each in Mathematics and Physics. Before joining us, he has tutored for 3 years through UO and over 4 years privately. Favorite topics to teach include Discrete Math
and Physics, but he is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about almost all math disciplines. Jordan can tutor from 4th grade to high level college math. He also happens to have a personal life, where he can be found snowboarding, running, playing video games, or playing chess.
Math & Science Tutor
Rose graduated from the University of Oregon in 2008, with a degree in Mathematics and an emphasis on Secondary Education. She loves teaching math (especially trigonometry and calculus), and enjoys helping
trigonometry and calculus), and enjoys helping students prepare for the AP Calculus exam. In her spare time, Rose can be found with her cats, making costumes, playing tabletop role-playing games, and working in her garden. Rose is not currently taking new students.
Social Media and
Payton is a recent graduate of Oregon State University, with B.S. each in Environmental Sciences and in Sustainability. She works also as an office assistant at the partner business
EMT Associates. Payton spends most of her time off hanging out with her plants and her dogs (and family and friends). She also likes hiking, netflix, and general tomfoolery.
Reading & Writing Tutor
Nannette has a Master's degree in Literature from California State University Sacramento, with a concentration in Medieval and Renaissance Literature, and holds a writing composition teaching certificate.
Nanette has tutored all ages and levels of language arts, including phonics and writing, for over 12 years, and has been teaching college courses since 2007. She also tutors in SAT Language Arts / Writing Test Prep, resumes & cover letters, business writing, college entrance exam essays, and math K-4. Nannette's hobbies include creative writing, tennis, and playing guitar.
Nannette is also fully vaccinated and open for new students. She can now tutor at the office, in-home, or remotely.

Andi is a natural-born enthusiast, eager to make a difference in the lives of people from all ethnic and socio-
economic backgrounds, and those with special needs. With a Master's honors education in business, health care, and linguistics, she enjoys exploring new languages and cultures, writing poetry and children's stories, singing, and challenging the horizon. Her mantra is: "You can do the impossible with practice, hard work, and imagination." Andi is currently not taking on new students.
Owner and Nursing Tutor
Mary Ann is a nurse and EMT, along with just about everything else! She enjoys assisting students who are seeking a career in healthcare. She also owns the partner business EMT Associates, where she teaches a
variety of nursing and medical licensing classes. When she can find some spare time, Mary Ann enjoys game nights and spending time with her family.
Austin is currently a student at Oregon State University, studying Geology and Spanish. She also attended a Spanish immersion school from elementary through high school and obtained the Oregon State
Seal of Bi-literacy. She helps to manage the Oregon Tutor office and social media accounts, and occasionally does Spanish tutoring. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and going to trivia nights.
Our instructors come from a broad range of educational backgrounds and experiences. From Biology majors to retired elementary school teachers, we have a diverse group that allows for collaboration and growth for students as well as instructors.
